                                                           HOUSES       The Romans lived in different homes  depending if they were rich or poor . The poor lived in apartaments in the cities or in small houses in the country.The rich lived in private homes in the city or large villas in the country  roman houses                                      The wealthy elite lived in large single family homes called domus. These homes were much nicer than the insulee. Most roman houses had similar features and rooms.

                                                           THE HISTORY OF ROME What is the legend of Romulus and Remus? Romulus and Remus were twin brothers descendants of God Mars (God of war).They were abandoned by their uncle as babies and put into a basket that was then placed into the river Tiber. The basket ran aground and the twins were discovered by a female wolf. The wolf nursed the for a short time before they were found by sharpherd . The shepherd then brougth up the twins. When Romulus and Remus became adults,they decided to found a city where the wolf had found them  The brothers quarrelled over where  the  site  should be and Remus was killed by his brother.This left Romulus the sole founder of the new city and he gave his name to it - Rome in 753b.c

His palace is located in the middle of Tartarus, where as sovereign he watches over the administration of his state and dictates his inflexible laws.   POMPEII Hello roman soldiers!! We are Ana, Irene, Jimena, Jimena and Irene. Today, we will talk you about Pompeii. In the year 79 a.C, 24th of october, something changed the life of the romans. The eruption of the Vesubious volcano, in Pompeii!!  At 8 a.m, the volcano expelled smoke and it  was a little earthquake , but people didn't pay attention. LOOK THIS AND YOU WILL UNDERSTAND THIS VIDEO     LONG LIFE TO THE ROMAN EMPIRE!!!
